Bucktail Detachment Installs New Officers

RENOVO – Bucktail Detachment #856 of the Marine Corps League installed their new officers on 11 April prior to a dinner at the Renovo Elks Lodge #334.

Second row from left: John Tarantella, Sr., Junior Vice Commandant/Sergeant at Arms and Ron Jones, Senior Vice Commandant/Judge Advocate. Not pictured, Vince Tarantella was a key member, acting as Installing Sergeant at Arms. In a ceremony to take place in May, Don Miller will be installed as Paymaster/Jr. Past Commandant. The banquet was catered by Mike & Brenda Hand of the Kettle Creek Motel.

The Bucktail Detachment is active in veteran activities throughout Clinton County in co-operation with the Renovo VFW and American Legion. The Detachment is also very active in the Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” program throughout Clinton County
