NW Regional AAA – Saturday Sessions (Live Updates)
ALTOONA – The Wildcats continue their quest for a trip to Hershey today. Central Mountain has all 12 wrestlers still alive in the tournament and 1.5 point lead in the team race after the Quarter Final round yesterday.
Central Mountain has 56 points while General McLane follows close behind with 54.5 points and 12 wrestlers in the hunt. GM has a slight edge with 8 wrestlers in the winner’s bracket, while the Wildcats have 6.
Mifflin County is in third place with 9 wrestlers still active, 4 in the championship bracket. Jersey Shore hold a very respectable fourth place with 33.5 points, 10 wrestlers in action, 4 in the winner’s bracket. State College rounds out the top 5 with 28 points, 7 wrestlers competing, 2 still vying for a title.
SPECIAL NOTE – The Championship Finals were originally scheduled for 7 p.m. start … this has been changed to 6 p.m. and will run concurrently with the Consolation Finals.
