LHU Bounces PSU-Wilkes-Barre



lhu-hoopsLEHMAN – Five different Bald Eagles scored in double-figures Monday night as the Lock Haven University men’s basketball team (3-2) downed Penn State Wilkes-Barre, 98-60 in a non-conference matchup.
 Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) netted a game-high 21 points in the win on 8-of-13 shooting from the field.
 Senior forward Kasheef Festus (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) scored 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds for The Haven.
 Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) and Nate Walters (Reedsville, Pa./Indian Valley) scored 12 and 11 points, respectively. Dave Garcia (Scotrun, Pa./Pocono Mt. East) added 10 points off of the bench.
 LHU received contributions from everyone on the floor, as 11 different players scored for the Eagles. 
 Lock Haven shot a season-best 51.7% from the field and scored 98 points, the most points the Bald Eagles have scored in a game since the Bald Eagles scored 98 points against Bloomsburg last season (1/11/13).
 Kenneth Randall led PSU Wilkes-Barre with 12 points.
 Lock Haven returns to action after Thanksgiving break when the Bald Eagles travel to PSAC East power East Stroudsburg on Wednesday, December 4.  Tipoff at ESU is scheduled for 8 p.m.
