Scootac Bridge Work Stop ‘n Go

scootac-signal-140408You can add a few more minutes to your trip between Lock Haven and Renovo as work has begun to replace the superstructure of the Scootac Bridge on Route 120. PennDOT has activated temporary traffic signals on either side of the bridge; they will be in use until October of this year when work will stop. In the spring of 2015 crews will return to place an epoxy treatment on the deck and lane restrictions will resume. Francis S. Palo, Inc. of Clarion is the contactor on the $1.4 million project. Overall work includes superstructure replacement, guide rail updates, approach paving and pavement markings. Record photo – John Lipez
