BMC Continues to Receive Donations in Memory of Joyce Curran

SOUTH RENOVO – The Bucktail Medical Center in South Renovo, PA, which has been struggling to emerge from Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, has been receiving donations not only from local donors, but from donors outside the state in memory of Joyce Curran.  This past Friday they received a one thousand dollar donation from the Pipe liner Local Union 798, Tulsa OK in memory of Joyce whose husband, Fred is a member.  Local Union 798 is a Welder Fitter local union affiliated with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters.  Bucktail Medical Center administrator and all the staff at the hospital sent a thank you to Danny Hendrix, the Business Manager and all the members of that local union.  Joyce not only worked at one time in her life at the hospital, but also served on the board there as well.  She knew, as all area residents do that Renovo and the surrounding communities need the hospital.
