Bulldogs Draw Saturday Date with Johnstown

JERSEY SHORE — First round PIAA football pairings have been finalized and in Class 4A District 4 champion Jersey Shore (9-3) will meet District 6/9 winner Johnstown (11-1) at Williamsport High School Saturday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.

‘Shore took the District 4 title with Friday night’s 31-15 win over Selinsgrove, avenging a Sept. 30 26-6 loss to the Seals. Johnstown earned its PIAA berth with a 26-21 win over Clearfield.

Other PIAA matchups announced today include, in Class 6A, State College (11-1) versus Williamsport (12-1), the game to be played Friday, Nov. 18 at Selinsgrove High School.
