RENOVO – Friends have established a funeral fund for a Renovo woman whose body was recovered Saturday in Halls Run, Noyes Township.

Tosha Packer is a friend of the deceased Kelley Jo Snyder. Packer today told “therecord-online.com” the funeral expense program is through a national organization, Giveforward, created to assist local fundraising efforts for those in need.

Packer said the goal is two-pronged, to raise $5,000 towards the cost of the Snyder funeral, with any additional funds going towards a trust to be established for Mrs. Snyder’s own three children.

“The ones suffering the most are her kids,” Packer said, “We need to make sure they are taken care of.”

Packer said all funds received will be placed in an account at Horizon Federal Credit Union in Lock Haven.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced for Mrs. Snyder; initial results from an autopsy completed on Sunday did not provide the cause and manner of her death, according to Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna .

Meanwhile Snyder’s husband William “B.J.” Snyder remains at the Clinton County Correctional Facility in default of $500,000 bail, charged at this point with tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. His preliminary hearing has been set for Tuesday, April 21 at 8:30 a.m. in central court.
