Y Gym Team splits meet with Garver Gymcatz

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Lock Haven YMCA Gymnastics Team competed this past Saturday against the Garver Memorial Gymcatz from Roaring Springs with the B Team coming away with a win to end their home meet slate.

The A Team competed well; but did not have enough gymnasts for a team score.

In the A Team 16 and Up Division Harleigh Andrews placed first on vault (8.3), second at bars (8.1), and third on floor (8.75) and the All Around (32.1). Tatum Malone tied for second on vault (8.2), placed second on floor (8.8), and on bars (7.8) with a fourth place All Around (32.050). Hannah Brown tied for third on vault (7.9) and placed fifth on floor (8.0) and in the All Around (28.55).

In the B Team 9 and Under Division Kinley White tied for second on vault (7.1) and floor (6.0), third on beam (5.3) and All Around (22.9).

In the 10-11 Division Harper Conklin placed first on vault (8.2), bars (6.9), floor (8.0) and the All Around (30.25).

Summer Biggans placed first on beam (7.65), bars (6.9) and second on vault (8.1) and the All Around (30.05).

Grace Grieco placed third on beam (6.8), fourth on bars (5.6) and the All Around (26.3). Evelyn Nestor placed third on vault (7.8), fifth on bars (5.5) and fourth on floor (7.0).

In the 12 Age Division Sierra Culvey placed second on beam (4.0) and floor (5.5).

In the 13 and Over Age Division Samantha Streator placed first on beam (7.05), second on vault (7.3) and tied on floor (6.50). Emily Everett placed second on bars (4.9), beam (6.6) and on floor (6.5).

Three up and coming performers competed on three pieces of equipment with Allie Weaver placing first on vault (6.6), beam (4.35) and floor (4.5). Cailin Courter placed tied for second on beam (3.5) and placed second on floor (4.2). Ashlynn Confer tied for second on beam (3.5) and third on floor (4.0)

The B Team score was 114.15 to 111.2 with Lock Haven taking the win over Garver Memorial. The team is hopeful to be invited to an away meet to end the season.
