Lady Mountain Lions down Lady Wildcats
ALTOONA, PA – The Central Mountain Lady Wildcats failed to find much in the attack and were in their defensive half most of the game at Altoona on Wednesday, the result an 8-0 win for the home team.
At half, the Lady Wildcats trailed by five goals and had a lot to do in the second half of the game so that it would not get too far out of the way. The second half resulted in less goals against but, according to coach Ryan Veltri, left a lot of questions to be asked moving into the next few days of training.
The JV team also struggled after taking the lead. Camry McCann netted her first goal of the season, assisted by Hannah Englert which, made a happy Hannah. Unfortunately the home side found their footing and put five goals past the visiting team.
Next up is a visit to Warrior Run on Saturday.
