Wendy Jo Miller – Obituary
Wendy Jo Miller, 55, of Swissdale, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Penn State University Medical Center of Hershey.
Born in Lock Haven on December 31, 1967, Wendy was the daughter of the late Richard Ashton “Woody” Miller and Cynthia A. Barth Miller, who survives in Swissdale.
She was a 1986 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She was employed at Woolrich Woolen Mills before going to work for Comcast Cable, where she had been for over the past 25 years.
Wendy simply enjoyed sharing her time with her family – especially with her daughter, grandchildren and fiancé.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiancé, Scot Mellott of Howard; her daughter, Ashton Gianna (Matt Barna) Ferrara of Mill Hall; a sister, Amy Lynne (Keith) Bartlebaugh of Swissdale; two grandchildren, Camden Fuller and Madden Barna, both of Mill Hall; and her niece, Kayla Bartlebaugh of Swissdale.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received for a time of visitation on Thursday from 12 Noon until the start of the service.
Memorial contributions in Wendy’s memory may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
