Kremser resigns as county director of emergency services
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Record has learned that Andrew Kremser has resigned as director of the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services; his resignation was turned in on Aug. 16, effective that date.
A county spokesperson confirmed Kremser’s departure but offered no further comment. His resignation is expected to be accepted at the county commissioners’ voting session on Thursday. There was no reference to him at the commissioners’ Monday morning work session.
Kremser had been hired in April of 2020, the choice from among seven applicants at the time. The departed EMS head came to Clinton County from Lycoming County where he had been an administrator with the River Valley Transit System. He was hired at a starting salary of $60,000 three years ago.
Kremser had replaced Kevin Fanning who retired from the emergency service position after 24 years with the county.
