PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, PA – The Pine Creek Township Police Department received numerous reports of vehicles that had been broken into overnight on Monday and Tuesday. Their posting follows similar break-in reports across different parts of Clinton County in recent days.

Township police say all vehicles were on the property of their respective owner.  US Currency was taken from each vehicle reported entered. The thefts were reported in Avis Borough, Wayne Twp., Pine Creek Twp. and Dunnstable Townships with most happening in a residential development.

Police are following leads, but ask that anybody who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or who may have recorded suspicious activity on outdoor security cameras during the overnight hours to contact them at 570-753-5672, email: police@pinecreekpd.org or by clicking the “Submit a Tip” button on this page.

Police would like remind residents that they should always lock their cars, even when their vehicle is parked in their driveway.  When possible, you should also avoid leaving valuables such as wallets, money and electronics inside your vehicle.  Thieves will frequently look for unsecured vehicles from which to steal these valuables.
