Paul Mack Boulevard lighting project on a delay
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The highway lighting improvement project along Paul Mack Boulevard is on a temporary hold, but Lock Haven officials have been told the new lights should be installed and working by the original completion date of October.
City Public Works Director Tony Stopper said the last word he received was that there are some material delays that could delay the work a bit but the contractor is still looking at a fall completion date. The work began in February of this year.
Overall work on project includes upgrading lighting and traffic signal poles, signal heads, and traffic signal controllers to include radar detection units. It also includes installing closed-circuit televisions, pavement marking and miscellaneous construction. Bruce & Merrilees Electric Company of New Castle is the contractor on the $2 million project.
