Mill Hall police arrest Lock Haven woman on car theft charges

LAMAR TOWNSHIP, PA – Mill Hall police have charged Kadeja Henry of Lock Haven with the theft of a car from a Lamar Township resident.

Police said they arrested Henry on charges of felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, criminal use of a communication facility and driving while operation privilege is suspended.

Police said on April 18 the accused used Facebook marketplace to communicate with the victim who was selling a Toyota Camry. Police allege Henry arrived at the victim’s home to see the vehicle and take it for a “test drive” and refused to return the vehicle which prompted the victim to call police. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and the next day at 6:30 p.m. the vehicle was stopped in Williamsport and recovered. A warrant was obtained for Henry and on June 12 Henry was located in Lock Haven and taken into custody.

She was placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility in default of $7,500.00 bail. The charges where filed through the Mill Hall District Court.
