Obituary
Marjorie R. McCully, 94, of Beech Creek passed away June 15, 2023 at her granddaughter, Megan’s, home in Mechanicsburg.
Born July 6, 1928 in Beech Creek, she was a daughter of the late Fred L. and Ella Viola Mann Rupert.
Marge was a 1946 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On February 1, 1948, she married her love, Kenneth McCully, with whom she shared 66 years before his passing in 2014.
Marge was employed at Sylvania for ten years. She then devoted her life to raising her family.
She was a member of Beech Creek Wesleyan Church.
Marjorie thoroughly enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family, baking cookies, taking summer family fishing trip to Canada, riding snow mobile, reading a good book, gardening, thrifting, finding the good yard sales, and attending the sales at the auction barns.
Surviving is her daughter, Kelly (Jim) Mann of Beech Creek; sister, Violet Walker of Flemington; grandchildren: Shawn (Stephanie) McCully, Tara (Mark) Walker, Megan Maize, Aaron Mann and Alicia Mann; a daughter-in-law, Cathy McCully of Beech Creek; and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, siblings and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert McCully.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 6:30 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5:30 P.M. until the time of the service.
