Maxine M. Rosher – Obituary
Born May 29, 1913 in Renovo, PA; she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Kane; and preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Rosher; son-in-law, Donald Fry; sisters, K. Grace Schneider, husband, Paul and K. Betty Logue, husband, Harry; and brothers, John Kane, wife, Hilma and Harry Kane, wife, Marie.
She graduated from St. Josephs High School, Renovo, and retired from United Telephone Co.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, Lawnton American Legion Post 998, and a life member of the Verizon Pioneers.
Maxine enjoyed bingo, soap operas and reading.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia J. Fry, of Mechanicsburg; brother, Charles Kane, wife, Sue, of Renovo; 2 grandsons, Donald Fry, wife, Bonny, of Camp Hill and Christopher Fry, wife, Vivian, of Harrisburg; a great-grandson, Conor Fry; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Peace at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, the Very Rev. Churchill Pinder officiating.
