Sarah E. Bauman
Sarah E. Bauman, 95, of Mill Hall, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Lock Haven Hospital.
Born in Tyrone on July 27, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Packer Peace.
On May 12, 1947, Sarah married the love of her life, Malcolm W. Bauman, who preceded her in death on December 17, 1981.
Sarah cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy W. (Longie) Bauman of Cogan Station and Dennis C. (Marcia) Bauman of Mill Hall; two daughters, Donna R. (James) Burnworth of Mill Hall and Dianne J. (Thomas) Peters of Beech Creek; a brother, Robert (Joanne) Peace of Howard; a niece, Linda (Samuel) Emel of Bellefonte; six grandchildren, Emily, Jimmy and Abby Burnworth, Douglas and Jan Bauman, and Sandra (Norman) Westerbaan; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Westerbaan.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold “Abe” Peace, Ronald “Red” Peace and William Harvey Peace.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Moriarty Funeral Home, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, with Licensed Minister Cindy Killinger officiating.
Friends and family will be received before the service from 9 to 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A. through the funeral home.
