Lock Haven Skatepark set for groundbreaking

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Lock Haven Skatepark project has reached another milestone and is moving into the bidding phase with a new and improved final design. The updated design continued to pull ideas from the community engagement process and now includes a pump track in addition to the skatepark itself.

As the project team moves toward bidding and construction in June and July, the City of Lock Haven is inviting the community to a ceremonial groundbreaking for the multiphase improvements occurring at Hoberman Park over the next two years. The event will be held at Hoberman Park on May 19 at 3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from special speakers, see preliminary and final designs for the park, and learn more about the multiphase project.
