Jacqui Anastos announces county auditor candidacy

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Jacqueline “Jacqui” Anastos has announced her candidacy for a Republican nomination for Clinton County Auditor in the May primary.

She is a graduate of State College Area High School, Harcum Junior College of Bryn Mawr in Hotel/Restaurant Management and Lock Haven University with a BS in business.

Jacqui has waitressed at the Texas Lunch for 31 years, also handling the bookkeeping/accounting for more than 20 years. She serves on the Central Mountain High School Advisory Committee and the vestry at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lock Haven.

She has been married for 27 years to Phil Anastos and they have three children, Peter, Alexis and Olivia. Her parents, Ian and Beti Bell, reside in State College

She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family.

“Lock Haven has been a great community to raise my family and to be a part of the family business that’s been in the Anastos family for over 60 years. Clinton County is a hidden gem with so much to offer outdoors, along with a revitalized downtown Lock Haven and I am proud to call it my home. I’ve been in the service industry most of my life and I’d like to continue that by serving the entire Clinton County community in a different capacity. I feel with my experience and education I am qualified to serve you as Clinton County auditor.”
