RENOVO, PA- Greater Area Renovo Heritage Park held its annual banquet at the Good Neighbor Craft House in Hyner on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

One of the awards presented was given to McKenna, “Kedda” Bissman, a ninth grade student at Bucktail High School. She was awarded this Young Leader distinction because of her dedication to the Laurelly Fork fish hatchery in North Bend where she helps to care for and feed the fish and maintain this valuable asset to nature.

Kedda is always busy doing something in our community and school. She is in the drum line, she helps at the Renovo Senior Center with activities, plays piano, and makes crafts and jellies in her spare time.

Congratulations to Kedda for making an example to her peers of her willingness to volunteer and make a difference in our community!
