Tuesday’s other semifinal in the four-team field is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., District 24 champion Blue Mountain vs. District 15 champ Wellsboro.

The winners’ bracket is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., the championship for Friday at 5:30 p.m. Tourney winner will advance to the state tournament hosted by the Bradford Little League and beginning on July 27.

With the long layoff, manager Falls said the coaches have kept the squad busy: “We have been practicing hard, keeping the kids excited and preparing for the teams in sectionals; it’s going to be fun but we have to show up Tuesday ready to play.“

As for the opener Tuesday with Mifflinburg, Falls said, “They are a good team I don’t have a lot of info; we just got to play our game and at end of the day we should be fine.” As for the four-team field, the manager said, “We just have to play the game and see what happens. I’m not sure who the favorite team is at this point.”
