Keystone/Clinton Little League playoffs getting underway
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Pennsylvania’s Little League Section Three District 12 all-star action is about to begin for both Keystone baseball and Clinton softball.
On the Keystone side of things, first up will be the Keystone Little League’s 10-12 team, in action this Thursday at 5:45 p.m., the opponent Loyalsock and the game played at Hepburn Little League north of Williamsport.
Other Keystone openers are the 9-11s opening Friday, June 24, playing at Montoursville; the juniors on Monday, July 1 playing the winner of an earlier game (June 29) between Montoursville and East Lycoming, the July 1 contest at Loyalsock; and the Keystone 8-10s hosting South Williamsport on Tuesday, July 5.
First Clinton softball play will see the Clinton 10-12s hosting Williamsport this Thursday at 5:45 p.m. Other Clinton team openers: 8-10 softball will play Monday, June 27 at Hepburn/Lycoming; and the Clinton 9-11s will host Jersey Shore on Tuesday, July 12.
The Clinton seniors will advance to the Senior Softball state tournament as there are no other teams in District 12 or Section 3. Clinton will play Stroudsburg on Thursday, July 14.
