Noyes Township government back at full strength

From staff reports

NOYES TOWNSHIP, PA – Noyes Township government is back to its full complement of three supervisors.

The township’s Vacancy Board recently named James Tarantella to fill a final vacancy on the board of supervisors. He joins Kim Kelley and Tim Reeves.

The township, north and east of Renovo, had lost a couple supervisors over the last half year or so.

The turnover process began last October when supervisor Dick Grennell resigned. But the sitting supervisors could not agree on a replacement and the matter went to Clinton County Court where interviews were held and the court selected Bucktail Medical Center administrator Reeves as the new supervisor. He joined Kelley who had been elected to a first term in November of last year, assuming office the first of this year, the third member incumbent Chuck Graw.

But the turnover continued when Graw submitted a letter of resignation earlier this year. That vacancy has been filled with the recent appointment of Tarantella.
