MECHANICSBURG, PA – The PIAA has posted word on the times and locations for the quarterfinal round of the state softball tournament.

District 6 Class 5A champion Central Mountain (21-2) will meet District 7 champion (WPIAL) Armstrong (21-4) at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis University of Loretto. The Lady Wildcats had advanced Monday with a dramatic 1-0, 9-inning win over North Hills (17-5) while Armstrong downed Chartiers Valley (15-7) by a 13-6 score.
