Sheriff recommends motorists avoid Lock Haven’s Main/Jay Street intersection on Monday
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County Sheriff Kerry Stover is alerting motorists to congestion at Lock Haven’s E. Main and Jay Streets intersection as a Clarion County contractor is putting up new street light poles there on Monday:
PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
The new Street Light crews are placing the poles on Jay and Main St’s in Lock Haven (GARDEN Building & COURTHOUSE parking lot area). Obviously this is one of the busiest intersections in town.
IF YOU CAN AVOID THE AREA PLEASE DO. The have traffic one way on both streets and flaggers to help with traffic.
USE CAUTION.
The work there is part of the state-funded traffic signal improvement project, a $2.7 million upgrade that began in early October of last year and is expected to continue until the end of August. 10 traffic signals upgrades are taking place: M&B Services LLC of Clarion, PA, is the contractor.
