State COVID case update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday reported 1,466 new cases. The state’s rolling 7-day average of new cases is 1,984, compared to 585 on March 31.

The state reported 682 residents hospitalized, an increase of 31 from Sunday. Those in intensive care units numbered 82, up two from the previous day.

Clinton County reported no new cases for a second day in a row for a total of 9,085. Centre County increased by 11 for a total of 35,677 and Lycoming County reported eight new cases for a total of 28,661.

The state reported one new death as the Clinton County figure remained at 126.
