New Clinton County Visitor Guide, Events Booklet Available

The new Clinton County Visitor Guide is now available through the Clinton County Economic Partnership & Visitors Bureau in Lock Haven.LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Visitors Bureau is announcing the availability of two new publications that promote Clinton County.

A new Clinton County Visitors Guide – the first in two years – is now available. The largest ever, the 62-page Guide, highlights Clinton County’s wide, open, fun, safe spaces. It includes information on local attractions and recreational opportunities, as well as a listing of state parks and key events throughout the year.

The new Guide also offers dining and lodging recommendations, and includes information on local art, culture, history, and more.

Tourism Director Julie Brennan with the Clinton County Economic Partnership & Visitors Bureau say 45,000 copies of the Visitor Guide are available. “It’s our most far-reaching and most-requested publication,” says Brennan, noting that copies of the Guide are distributed to all of the 14 Welcome Centers around Pennsylvania, and are available at several rest stops along Interstate 80 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The Guide is also a key part of the informational display used by the Visitors Bureau at various promotional outdoor and family travel shows.

Also new from the Partnership & Visitors Bureau is a 2022 Clinton County Events booklet. The booklet features more than 250 local events that are scheduled throughout the year. Brennan calls the booklet a “very handy reference.”

“The 2022 Events booklet will help you plan and prepare for different events, give you ideas for when family or other company are visiting, and more,” says Brennan.

Both the Visitors Guide and Events booklet are also included in a mailing being prepared for the more than 2,000 camp owners/leasees in the county. Brennan says the Visitors Bureau has been sending information to this group the past several years, encouraging them to spend more time at camp.

Both of the new publications – as well as many other brochures highlighting local attractions – are free and are available at the Clinton County Economic Partnership & Visitors Bureau office at 212 North Jay Street, Lock Haven. People can also view the Visitors Guide online on the Partnership website at www.ClintonCountyInfo.com.
