Wildcat golfers take inaugural Susquehanna River Rivalry

Central Mountain, Jersey Shore, Sugar Valley at the inaugural Susquehanna River Rivalry

MACKEYVILLE, PA – It was a local scholastic golf first Monday at the Belles Springs Golf Course, the initial Susquehanna River Rivalry bringing together the teams from Central Mountain, Jersey Shore and Sugar Valley High Schools.

The Wildcats had too much depth this year, earning possession of the newly created Susquehanna River Rivalry trophy to go to the winner each year. CM’s Gunner Redmond was medalist for the event, shooting a 75.

Central Mountain will be back in action Tuesday, competing at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club, the opponent Shikellamy.
