Obituary
Larry S. Kerstetter, Sr., 68, of Loganton passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home.
Born October 23, 1952 in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Daniel and Bernice “Eileen” (Slegle) Kerstetter, Sr.
Larry was a 1970 graduate of Sugar Valley High School and then attended the former Williamsport Area Community College, earning his degree as an electrician.
On June 5, 1971, he married his best friend, the former Belva Holdren, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Larry was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union, serving as an electrician for over 40 years.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Tylersville.
Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially enjoying his fishing trips to Canada.
Along with his wife, Belva Kerstetter, he is survived by two children, Larry (Katie) Kerstetter, Jr. of Phoenixville and Lynn (Chris) Maggs of Loganton; a brother, Dennis (Arlene) Kerstetter of Loganton; two sisters, Jean (Dan) Courter of Clintondale and Diane (Ron) Karstetter of Loganton; four grandchildren: Kyle Maggs and Cameron, Emma and Christopher Kerstetter; and his great granddaughter, Rowan Kathcart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Kerstetter, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Pastor Wayne Wagner officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Larry’s name may be made to Sugar Valley Community Volunteer Fire Company through the funeral home.
