LHU combining student orientation with vaccinations

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven University announced Thursday it will host two in-person orientations later this month for incoming students. At the same time, through a partnering with UPMC, community vaccination clinics will be held at the Student Recreation Center along Railroad Street. Dates are Friday, June 25 and Monday, June 28.

Both incoming students and community members 12 and older will be able to receive a Pfizer or J&J vaccine. Community members will drive up in their car and receive their vaccine without leaving their vehicle. Students can choose to receive their vaccine in their car or inside the Rec Center.

WHAT: LHU orientation and drive-thru vaccination clinics

WHEN: Friday, June 25 and Monday, June 28

Orientations will be held from 9 a.m. 1 p.m. and from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. on both dates
(Info/resource/room tour fair noon to 3 p.m.)

Vaccination clinics will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on both dates

WHERE: Vaccination clinics will be held in the Student Recreation Center parking lot (inside open to students)
