Lady Bucks Sweep Galeton 7-0
FARWELL – The Lady Bucks won 7-0. Renee Werts and Amanda Tyrrell won in the third set which was a 10 point Tie Breaker. They played against the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds from Galeton.
Leela Singh won her first singles match. She has never played singles before tonight. Bridget Gardner and Emalea Mills had a great win at No. 1 doubles also. They played Galeton’s No. 1 and No. 2 seeds.
With steady and strong performances from our 1-4 seeds. Overall great performance by the singles players and doubles players. It is great to see returning players and beginners having such strong performances against a great team like Galeton. Many positives came out of tonight and the team continues to show growth and are focused on preparing for October, as they make their bid to qualify for the District IV playoffs.
