CCEP Elects Board Members

LOCK HAVEN — The membership of the Clinton County Economic Partnership returned five incumbent members among eight elected to the Partnership’s operating committee at the organization’s annual meeting Wednesday night. There were 13 candidates for the eight slots.

Those elected by the membership, with incumbents marked by (I) behind their names, are, front row, left to right, Dan Harger (I); Larry Coploff (I); Dave Harger, (I), HUC, Inc; Bill Hanelly, (I), Lock Haven University; standing, Robert Maguire, Big Woods Land Company; Tom Brigandi, Brigandi, Kissinger Realtors; Darlene Weaver (I); Rick Vilello, Vilello Building Inspections.

Partnership CEO Mike Flanagan reported on continuing efforts of First Quality to construct a 279,000 square foot warehouse in Wayne Township, a zoning dispute relative to the plans now before Clinton County Court; and the recent sale of nearly 10 acres in the Partnership’s Lamar Township business park to Appalachian Drilling, the sale price $385,000.

He said the locally owned company will break ground for a new facility within the next 16 months. Flanagan also reported a Range Resources project is under construction at Pioneer Park in Wayne Township and local electrical contractor Tri-M plans a new building at the same park.
