Margaret L. Palmer – Obituary
Margaret L. Palmer, 72, 238 Susquehanna Ave., S. Renovo, PA died January 12, 2021 in the Geisinger, Jersey Shore Hospital. Born October 11, 1948 in Renovo, PA she was the daughter of Howard and Rose Mary Cohick Campbell. On December 28, 1985 in Renovo she married James B. Palmer who survives.
Margaret was a 1966 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School, Renovo, Pa and had worked in the cafeteria at St. Joseph’s School, the Department of Natural Resources, the Renovo YMCA, ACI, Lock Haven Hospital and had last worked as a receptionist at the Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo, PA
She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing games on her tablet and taking care of her cat; Summer and her dog; Lilly. In 1981 she became an EMT with the FAST Ambulance Service in Renovo.
She is survived by one daughter; Gail (Howard Conway) Pickering, Renovo, PA, one son: Carl (Tehani) Grenell, Northumberland, PA, four granddaughters; Natasha Harkinson, Hannah Grenell, Makayla & Peyton Grenell, one grandson; Ryan Harkinson, two sisters; Rita (Charles) Thoman. Williamsport, PA and Ann Marie Abbott, Peterborough, Onterio and one brother; Howard “Bill” Campbell, Jr., Williamsport, PA
A Celebration of Life honoring the life of Margaret L. Palmer will be held in the Spring or Summer of 2021 and will be announced.
