Central Mountain Seeks New Swimming Coach

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain High School is in the market for a new boys and girls swimming coach. The swimming post is one of seven coaching slots the Keystone Central School District is seeking to fill for the next school year.

Swimming coach Jim Merinar had announced before the start of last season that he would be retiring at the conclusion of the season. He logged 10 years as the Central Mountain coach. Longtime assistant Carol Matheney also retired after six years with the program.

Interested replacements have until July 26 to submit their applications.

The district has also advertised for these additional open posts at Central Mountain:
Assistant football; assistant volleyball; assistant girls soccer (two openings); assistant boys soccer; and assistant softball. The application deadline for all the assistant jobs is July 10.
