Clinton County Restaurants Able to Reopen for Sit-Down Dining
LOCK HAVEN – For the first time since mid-March, Clinton County residents on Friday are able to visit a local restaurant for sit-down dining.
Clinton County, along with neighboring Lycoming County, was recently given a state go-ahead to the “green” reopening phase Friday, allowing virtually all commercial businesses to reopen, all the while required to follow social distancing-related guidelines.
For restaurants, many of which reopened Friday, it meant removing tables to limit seating capacity. Patrons must wear masks entering the restaurants, but may remove them upon being seated. Such is the case at Fox’s Market House on E. Church Street in Lock Haven. Multiple tables have been removed and every-other booth has been taken out of use. Fox’s is using its Grove Street entrance for its continuing take-out service and its Church Street parking lot entrance for in-restaurant customers.
Other area restaurants have set up similar guidelines to be in accordance with state Health Department directives.
