COVID-19 Update: Clinton, Centre, Lycoming All Unchanged

LOCK HAVEN – State Health Department information from Harrisburg shows a steadying level of coronavirus cases in central Pennsylvania.

The Thursday state update confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., June 4, that there are an additional 533 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 73,942. The department also reported a death total of 5,817, an increase of 75 from Wednesday.

Clinton County cases held at 60, Centre County holding at 154 and Lycoming County holding at 166. Other counties adjoining Clinton are: Clearfield, 42; Cameron, 2; Potter, 6; and Union, 66. All were unchanged with the exception of Potter, up two, and Union, up three.

There are 416,942 people who have tested negative statewide to date. The state Health Department listing said of state residents afflicted with the virus, 69 percent of them have recovered. That number of tests is 683 in Clinton County, up 20 from Wednesday.
