Mid-State COVID-19 Cases Inch Up: Clinton to 57, Centre to 154, Lyco Stays at 164

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Monday update, confirmed as of 12:00 p.m., June 1, that there are an additional 356 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 72,282. The department also reported a new death total of 5,567, an increase of 12 from Sunday.

Clinton County cases moved up one to 57, Centre County up one to 154 and Lycoming County stayed at 164 for the third day in a row. Other counties adjoining Clinton are: Clearfield, 40; Cameron, 2; Potter, 4; and Union, 62.

There are 389,431 people who have tested negative statewide to date. The state Health Department listing said of state residents afflicted with the virus, 67 percent of them have recovered. That number of tests is 644 in Clinton County. The state numbers also list three deaths in Clinton County attributed to the virus.
