Statewide COVID-19 Total Jumps to 5,805; Clinton County Case-free to this Point
HARRISBURG – While the state of Pennsylvania reports its biggest one-day jump yet in coronavirus cases, Clinton County continues as one of a dwindling number of Pennsylvania counties without a confirmed case.
Wednesday figures from the state Health Department show that the number of reported cases in the state jumped by 962 from yesterday, for a statewide total of 5,805. 74 deaths have been attributed to the virus, an increase of 11from Tuesday. The state said 42,427 tests statewide came back negative.
Updated county totals from the mid-state: Clinton, 0; Lycoming, 7 (an increase of 1 from Tuesday); Centre, 27 (an increase of 2 from Monday); Potter, 2; Clearfield, 4; Cameron, 1 and Union, 2, (where the number was listed as 4 on Tuesday).
Other counties with no reported cases to date include Sullivan, Wyoming, Jefferson, Elk, Forest, and Fulton.
