Statewide COVID-19 Total Jumps to 4,843; Clinton County Remains Case-free

HARRISBURG – Clinton County continues as one of a dwindling number of Pennsylvania counties without a confirmed case of COVID-19. Tuesday figures from the state Health Department show that the number of reported cases in the state jumped by 806 from yesterday, for a statewide total of 4,843. 63 deaths have been attributed to the virus, an increase of 14 from Sunday. The state said 37,645 tests statewide came back negative.

Updated county totals from the mid-state: Clinton, 0; Lycoming, 6 (a doubling from Monday); Centre, 26 (an increase of 2 from Monday); Potter, 2; Clearfield, 4; Cameron, 1 and Union, 4, (where the number was zero on Monday).

Other counties with no reported cases to date include Sullivan, Wyoming, Jefferson, Elk, Forest, and Fulton.
