Wildcat Golf Captures 4th Consecutive PHAC Championship
HUMMELS WARF – For the fourth consecutive season, the Central Mountain golf team has captured the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference championship with another sweep of the field at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
The Wildcats turned in a team score of 179 for a 9-hole round of play followed by Montoursville (183), Selinsgrove (202), Williamsport (210) and Shikellamy (220).
Jason Floruss led the ‘Cats a round of 42 followed closely by Zach Somers with 45. Both Brady Williams and Brayden Confair had a round of 46 while Gunner Redmond with 47 and Peyton Newlen with 48.
Central Mountain finished conference play for 2019 with a 19-1 record, 26-3-1 overall.
The Wildcats will have one final round with Shikellamy on Sept. 23, 2019 at Clinton Country Club as they prepare for the post season.
