CM Golf Splits with Altoona, St. Joe’s
MILL HALL – The Central Mountain Golf team hosted Altoona and St. Joseph’s Academy in non-league round of golf at the Clinton Country Club with the Wildcats splitting the field.
The Wildcats turned in a team score of 368 which picked up a win over St. Joe’s (398) but fell to Altoona (361).
Jason Floruss led the ‘Cats with 87 followed by Brady Williams at 91. Chase Confer turned in a round of 94, while Zach Somers had 96, Peyton Newlen with 99 and Gunner Redmond with 100.
After today’s round, CM has an overall record of 17-3-1, 12-1 in the PHAC.
The Wildcats will next head back to White Deer Golf Course on Monday, Sept. 9 for a 9-hole round of PHAC play with Montoursville, Shikellamy, Selinsgrove and Williamsport.
