SVRCS Golf Upsets BEA with Playoff Round

MACKETVILLE – The Sugar Valley Rural Charter School golf team picked up a victory Tuesday by way of a one hole playoff. SVRCS and Bald Eagle Area we’re tied 400-all after regulation play for the team score.

Low scores for SVRCS were Skyler Nixon (91) Corbin Homan (93) Kadin Ortiz-Leigey (106) and Isaac Shawver (110).

Corbin Homan won the one hole playoff with a birdie on hole 1 to seal the win for the Phoenix.

The SVRCS golf team will be back in action on Sept. 11 against St. Joesph’s Catholic Academy for a 9 hole contest.
