Lock Haven Athletics to Celebrate Girls & Women in Sports Day on Saturday, Jan. 24

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven Department of Athletics will hold its 2026 National Girls and Women in Sport Day (NGWSD) celebration on Saturday, Jan. 24.

The event is open to anyone grades K-6. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. in Zimmerli Gym (Walk In).

Mini clinics for all participants will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Following the conclusion of the mini clinics, we will move to Thomas Fieldhouse for a pizza party and to be honored at halftime of the women’s basketball game. Please be prepared to sign out/pick up students from Thomas Fieldhouse at 1:45 p.m.
