Lady ‘Cat Tennis Rolls Past Milton, 5-0

MILTON – The Lady Wildcat tennis team picked up another clean sweep over a PHAC opponent, this time a 5-0 road win at Milton with all five wins coming in straight sets.

At No. 1 singles, Kendall McCluskey defeated Milton’s Hannah Seebold, 6-0, 6-1 for the First Lady ‘Cat win of the day. CM’s Carolina Carpenetti took down Haley Seebold, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles while Olivia Anastos shut out Milton’s Payton Ritter, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Natalie Brown and Kati Kwiatek earned another Central Mountain shutout at No. 1 doubles when they dispatched Kerrie Counsil and Brooklyn Wade, 6-0, 6-0. At No. 2 doubles, the Lady ‘Cat duo of Caitlyn Dale and Gianna Renzo picked up the last win of the day when they defeated Milton’s Alana Stamon and Maddie Chappell, 6-3, 6-0.

The win takes Central Mountain to 4-0 on the season.

The Lady Wildcats will be back in action when they host Selinsgrove on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.
