Wildcats Pick Up One Win, One Loss, One Tie

MILL HALL – It was a bitter-sweet outing for the Central Mountain golf team as they hosted their first home outing of the season at the Clinton Country Club.

The Wildcats shot a round of 353 as a team but ended up with a 1-1-1 outcome. CM defeated BEA (467), tied Tyrone (353) but fell to Philipsburg-Osceola (334).

Leading the way for the ‘Cats was Jason Floruss 81 followed by Brady Williams 83 and Zach Somers 91. Gunner Redmond shot 98 while Brayden Confair turned in a round of 99 and Peyton Newlen had 102 on the day.

The Wildcats will host their first PHAC match of the season on Thursday, August 22, 2019 when they will host, Montoursville, Selinsgrove, Shikellamy and Williamsport at the Clinton Country Club course.
