Lock Haven’s Dollar General Closed

LOCK HAVEN – The Dollar General store at 16 E. Main St. in Lock Haven closed over the weekend and remained closed as of Monday.

A hand-lettered sign was put on the front door, reading “Closed until further notice Sorry for the inconvenience.” Lights were on inside the store but there were no signs of any occupants.

Efforts by therecord-online to contact the company were not immediately successful. The one-story business is located in a property owned by Lock Haven-based Realtylease Properties. A spokesperson there said the company has not been able to get a response from Dollar General as to why the shutdown. Adjacent businesses in the same building were open for business as usual on Monday.
