Fallon Hotel Vandalized in May

LOCK HAVEN – The new owners of the Fallon Hotel took to social media on Thursday to lament recent vandalism at the once stately hotel they are attempting to restore.

The owners posted pictures of graffiti within the hotel’s first floor. The graffiti was of a far-right, anti-Semitic nature. The new owners said the drawings shined “a light on the hate and racist character of this city” and said the incident “created resentment to do something positive” in Lock Haven. They also stated, “It’s amazing to see how cruel certain individuals can be towards a positive gesture, once completed will bring jobs, entertainment and hope back to our city.”

City police said the incident, reported as a burglary, occurred on May 2.They had no new information on the incident.
