Bernice K. Dingman – Obituary

Bernice K. Dingman, 88, formerly of Renovo, Clinton County, passed away Saturday June 29, 2019 at the Kinkora Pythian Home in Duncannon, Perry County.

Born November 19, 1930, in Keating, Clinton County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Wadsworth) Winkleman.

Bernice was employed by Woolrich Mills, for 25 years, prior to her retirement.  Throughout her life, Bernice was dedicated to hard work and the well-being of her family.  She enjoyed being around her horses in her younger years; and, was passionate about the outdoors as the years’ passed – particularly when it provided an opportunity for her to hunt or fish.

Bernice is survived by her daughter, Linda A. (John) Watach, of Duncannon, and son, Coolidge M. (Rose) Dingman, Jr., of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, John (Robyn) Stewart, Alexa Watach, Alaina (Ethan) Reichert, Love Dingman, Autumn (Sergio) Mendez and Dusty Dingman, and, ten great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters, Violet Ruth Pugh and Jean (Larry) Ditty.  In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her former husband, Coolidge M. Dingman, Sr., two sisters, Frances Knisley and Pearl Winkleman; her step father, Clyde Englert; and, a niece Tammy Pugh and nephew, Jimmy Mason.

Bernice and her family appreciated the many friends made, and the loving care received, during the time she resided at the Kinkora Pythian Home.

A Graveside Committal Service will be held at the North Bend Cemetery
at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday July 14, 2019, with Certified Lay Speaker Martha Sykes, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kinkora Pythian Home Resident Activity Fund, 50 Cove Road, Duncannon, PA 17020.  Those wishing to share memories with the family or offer condolences are invited to visit BitnerCares.com.  Arrangements entrusted to the Ronald C.L.
