Barbara Ann Myers – Obituary

Barbara Ann (Kime) Myers, 65, of Fairmont, passed away on July 03, 2019, at Fairmont Regional Medical Center after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born on May 14, 1954, in Renovo, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Ralph and Viola Kime.

Barbara graduated from Bucktail Area High School in Renovo, and later moved to Fairmont with her parents, where she worked as a waitress at the Poky Dot. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Thomas A. Myers.

She is also survived by daughter, Betsy Dickerson and husband Adam, of Norfolk, VA; brother, David R. Kime and wife Juley of Allegheny, NY; stepdaughter, Kellie Scumaci and husband Ralph, of Morgantown; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mary Ann and Mary; and caregivers, Tonya and Monica.

Family and friends are welcome to call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m., and Monday from 10-11 a.m. with services on Monday, July 08, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at WV National Cemetery in Grafton.
