Randy Leigh Bibey – Obituary
Randy Leigh Bibey, 59, formerly of Renovo, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at his residence in Lock Haven. He was the husband of Kim M. (Policastro) Bibey.
Born in Renovo on September 30, 1959, he was the son of the late Dorsey and Margaret (Sockman) Bibey. After graduating high school, Randy joined the Air Force and served eight years as an Air Traffic Controller. He later worked as a mechanic for the former International Paper Mill in Lock Haven.
On August 25, 2001 Randy married the former Kim Policastro and the couple shared over 17 years of marriage together. Randy was very active in his community and served as the Renovo Borough Council President for ten years and as a trustee for the Renovo Elks Club #334. In his spare time, he loved hunting and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
In addition to his beloved wife, Randy is survived by two sons, Randy Bibey, Jr. (Elizabeth) formerly of Renovo, and Clayton Policastro (Jessica) of Renovo; one daughter, Molly Casper (Shane) of Lock Haven; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Brody, Maverick, Atorian, Kassidy, Malakhi, and Adalyn, who will be born in September; two brothers, Rick Bibey (Cindy) of Nebraska, and Dorsey Bibey, Jr. (Tracy) of Clearfield. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Bibey.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 5th St., in Renovo, with Martha Sykes officiating. A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at North Bend Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Renovo Honor Guard.
